A massive thank you to everyone who bid for this fantastic opportunity for a once-in-a–lifetime experience. The eBay auction finished on Sunday Dec 20 2009 and raised £757.
Over the next couple of weeks people with learning disabilities in Edinburgh who have been affected by the Care and Support tender are seeking to raise issues that they want addressed by the local authority before contracts are awarded. The contract changes will have a negative effect on Garvald’s accommodation services. Please sign this online petition to unfreeze the direct payments and therefore give individuals choice.
