All our buildings have Canteen workshops. The groups make lunches/snacks for everyone using their buildings. Members are involved in choosing recipes, making up menus and preparing different dishes each day. The canteens use fresh fruit and vegetables and organic produce whenever possible. Meals are vegetarian and there is a commitment to healthy nutrition. Individuals can develop their skills in food preparation and also need to work well together as a team. There are deadlines to be met each day and a consistent quality of meals to be achieved.
