Glass Studio

The glass studio provides opportunities in artistic glass-making for adults with learning difficulties. The techniques involved are varied and accessible to a wide range of needs and abilities. These techniques include: fused glass, producing candle-holders, bowls, and decorations; bead-making and jewellery; glass casting; mosaic work. Products we create may go to the Mulberry Bush or our Christmas bazaar, some work contributes to regular themed exhibitions.

There are occasions where the studio participates in the cultural aspects of Garvald such as festival celebrations. This may be through creating props, reciting a poem, telling a story, singing a song or acting in a drama.
