Michaelmas exhibition at Mayfield House

On 30th September, Garvald Mayfield House celebrated Michaelmas. To mark the occasion, they organised an exhibition of artwork entitled “Dragons”.

The exhibition took the form of a creative competition, with both members and staff invited to take part and showcase their work in a variety of artistic techniques.

Swan, Day Service Manager, introduced everyone to the theme of Michaelmas and the exhibition, incorporating some BSL (British Sign Language) words and expressions into her presentation.

The Drama Group, led by Daru, then performed a storytelling piece about a dragon. The performance was warmly received, with everyone present responding with great enthusiasm and enjoyment.

It was a wonderful celebration, bringing creativity, participation and a shared sense of community together.
