We are known as Garvald Edinburgh. We provide day, accommodation and support services for adults with disabilities. We are inspired by the work of Rudolf Steiner.

In our work we recognise and value the uniqueness of each person. We seek to create a quality of environment in which activities and social relationships will be enabled. We want to allow people to realise their potential.

  • Meadows Marathon - Sunday 4th March, Run for Garvald Edinburgh and help people with disabilities increase their independence. The Meadows Marathon is a marathon, half marathon and Fun Run all rolled into one taking place in the Meadows Park. Click here for more info and to register.
  • Heritage Lottery Good News for Garvald
    Garvald Edinburgh has received a grant of £43,100 from the Heritage Lottery fund to support our project “Celebrating Potential – The Garvald Edinburgh Story”. We will be celebrating and sharing the stories of the achievements of all the members of our community and preserving the historical record of their lives. We hope to encourage understanding and give a voice to an under-represented group and share this precious story with the wider public. The project will involve an exhibition, written record and short film and we are currently recruiting a Heritage Project Co-ordinator to deliver the project.
