Colour and Creativity at Mayfield Spring Fair

This weekend, Mayfield House opened its doors to the public for its annual Spring Fair, and what a glorious afternoon it was!

It was a wonderful chance for visitors to see, up close, all the creativity and collaboration that goes into life at Mayfield House. From stunning jewellery pieces and clay work, to a beautiful collaborative painting made over the course of 6 months in the garden workshop.

There was also so much to try: live music, story walks, willow stripping, felt ball making, beading and metal engraving, to name just a few activities! Not to mention the abundance of freshly made soups, scones, cakes and lemonade in the kitchen.

Thanks to everybody who came out to the fair, and to all the Mayfield staff for making it a special afternoon.
