Hot off the Press: Garvald Pigeon Issue 4 is out now!

The Media Workshop have been hard at work this year putting together a bumper issue of the Garvald Pigeon. It’s packed full of exclusive interviews, insightful reporting, beautiful photography and illustration, as well as original stories, poetry and jokes.

The cover story features an interview with Drag Syndrome, the world’s first drag troupe of people with Down Syndrome.

“I hope everyone will read this interview,” says Daniel, who reported the story. “Me and Nico worked hard on it. I asked [Drag Syndrome] all the questions I wanted to, like if they could do a drag version of the Lion King. The Lion King is my favourite film.”

This issue of the Garvald Pigeon is also now available to listen to, and to download as an accessible PDF. This is part of the Media Workshop’s ongoing work to make the publication more accessible.
