Annie Gutteridge at Artworks Together 2026
Everyone in the Art Studio was very excited when they heard the news that Annie’s artwork ‘Jaycee’ had been chosen for the ArtWorks Together 2026 exhibition in Sheffield!
Then they got even more exciting news - Annie had been nominated for a “Rising Visionary Award.” The nomination had come from the exhibition judge, TV presenter George Webster.
ArtWorks Together is an international festival which celebrates artists who are autistic, have a learning disability, or both.
The festival gives artists from around the world a chance to show their work, share their ideas and creativity, and get the recognition they deserve.
This year’s exhibition includes 71 artworks from many places across the world.
The award ceremony took place in February at the Millennium Hotel. The hotel is connected to the Millennium Gallery, where the exhibition will continue until 31 May.
It was a fun and welcoming event. There was lots to enjoy, including music, DJs, art activities, guided tours of the exhibition and a brilliant artist question and answer session.
It was great to hear artists talk about their artwork, what inspires them and why it is so important for artists who are often under-represented to have a place to share their work with the world.
We are so proud of Annie and all the amazing artists involved.
