Media Workshop film selected for Oska Bright Film Festival

We are delighted to share that The Bear Went Over the Mountain, an animation produced by the Garvald Media Workshop, has been selected for screening by the Oska Bright Film Festival.

Oska Bright is the world’s leading festival for films made by and featuring people with learning disabilities and autism.

Each year, the BAFTA-qualifying festival welcomes thousands of people to its screenings, and shows work from dozens of countries.

The festival is managed and delivered by a team of ten learning disabled artists, all passionate about film and exhibition.

The Media Workshop are thrilled with this news. The Bear Went over the Mountain was an immense piece of work that took over 18 months to complete. They look forward to sharing it with a wider audience in 2026.
